About Teresa George

After serving as a physician assistant at the University of Iowa, Teresa George joined Valley View Dermatology staff in 2003. She earned her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science in Chicago, IL. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate studies at the Clarkson School of Nursing. Teresa is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Oregon Dermatology Society (ODS), the Oregon Medical Association(OMA), and the Marion-Polk County Medical Society. 

Teresa was first drawn to dermatology because of the ability to help patients and make them feel better physically and emotionally. This interest translates into Teresa’s general treatment philosophy, where she enjoys developing relationships with her patients and takes their care very seriously. She prioritizes making her patients feel comfortable asking questions and listens to her patients very carefully. 

In her spare time Teresa enjoys fitness related activities, travel, and spending time with her two teenage sons.
