About Dr. Swift
As a member of Valley View Dermatology since 2018, Dr. Reyna Swift completed her undergraduate degree at Willamette University before earning her doctoral degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. During medical school, she additionally spent a year performing melanoma research as a fellow with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She proceeded to complete her dermatology residency at the University of Southern California, which included training at the Keck School of Medicine Hospitals, Norris Cancer Hospital, the Los Angeles County Hospital, Los Angeles Veterans Clinic, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Swift is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Swift was initially drawn to the dynamic nature of the day in the life of a dermatologist. She practices medical dermatology as well as surgical dermatology. She is particularly interested in surgical management of skin cancers and benign growths. She enjoys all aspects of general dermatology, including diagnosing and treating skin cancer, as well as the treatment of acne and evaluating and treating contact dermatitis.
Dr. Swift takes pleasure in spending time with her husband, family and friends as well as her dog, particularly in the outdoors, when she is not in the office. She also greatly enjoys tennis, hiking, backpacking, running, and cooking.
