About Kara Arnold

Kara Arnold joined Valley View Dermatology in 2022 as a Physician Assistant. She earned her degree in  Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Before that, Kara earned her undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Additionally, Kara has completed further training to become a Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate. 

Kara was drawn to dermatology due to the field’s uniqueness even among medical specialties. Kara finds great satisfaction in delivering care that often immediately impacts patients’ lives for the better. Her goal is to provide care that fosters dignity and empowers her patients. She wants her patients to feel understood and seen. She collaborates with her patients to create a plan that best suits their needs and unique situation.

Outside the clinic, Kara loves to hike with her two pups, Prosciutto and Gumbo. When not exploring the outdoors, she is often spending time with family and friends, or reading a new book. Kara is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant.
