About Dr. Currie

As a member of the Valley View Dermatology staff since 2021, Dr. Gabriel Currie earned his doctorate degree from the Oregon Health and Science University before completing his dermatological residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing this training, Dr. Currie completed further training in dermatopathology at the University of Texas at Southwestern.

Dr. Currie was drawn to dermatology and dermatopathology due to his desire to help patients and providers inside and outside the clinic. Indeed, for Dr. Currie, the practice of medicine is centered around carefully listening and examining each patient with whom he has the privilege to see. He believes in a collaborative approach to patient care that facilitates individualized care for each patient. 

When not in the clinic or the lab, you’ll often find Dr. Currie with his family, enjoying the bliss of parenting. Dr. Currie has received his Board Certifications in both dermatology and dermatopathology from the American Board of Dermatology.
